l was born in 1966 in Kingston Upon Thames and grew up in South West London. As a youth I was a dreamer whilst being put under great pressure at academic schools. I was known for being constantly distracted as I tended to marvel more at at the winds play in the sunlit trees that surrounded the school pitches and other such natural phenomena, rather than study

This led to an average set of academic results and a rocky path to find what i would like to experience. Youthful fears and anxiety arose and i worked within that narrowing feeling to carve out a career. I first worked in an antique restoration workshop, then studied furniture design and moved onto 4 years as a Landscape Designer. Later as a mature University student I took a Degree in Fine Art, Valuation and Auctioneering. Using these varied skills I ventured into the film industry from dealing in antiques in London and have built over many years a career as an international film Set Decorator which i still do to this date.

By my early forties the pressure of work was causing a stress reaction resulting in sleeplessness, fatigue and strain. Over the preceding two decades I had investigated various routes to a more balanced way of being.  Eventually I was directed to Vedic Meditation by a good friend who was practicing and experiencing the benefits in her daily life. This was to be a profound change that has shaped my life from the moment i started.

For the last 10 years since I learnt the practice I have expanded my knowledge and taken many trips and attended retreats in India at the source of the knowledge. Ultimately I took the leap to becoming a teacher (Initiator) of the Vedic practice in 2017.
